Nintendo direct, 18th June 2024

Heyy!  As of now, there are only 30 minutes until the new Nintendo Direct drops.  If I'll be honest, I don't see a reality where this isn't a massive trainwreck and I'm just here to see the internet catch fire and wonder what the hell the inevitable new nintendo console is about.  What is everyone else looking forward to?

The new switch is predictable, but im going to laugh my ass off if either of the other two are proven true, honestly. fuckin ai lmao

I know it’s currently happening, but I haven’t been watching yet so this is for me to get disappointed when I look at a reveal list later lol
- Anything Metroid related would make me very happy, i love the silly space girl
- Stupid ass ai lol but a new kid Icarus would be sick

Honestly a new switch like doesn’t interest me, sure it’ll be neat but like it’s gonna be annoying to have to get a new console and switch between the two, hopefully it has backwards compatibility at the very last and maybe like a transfer feature for digital games

Alright, here's a comprehensive list of games I'm intrigued by that showed their asses in this direct, in order of announcement:
-New Mario and Luigi (honestly glad it's back)
-MIO: Memories in Orbit (not Nintendo related but ehjfjd athmosphere and decent platforming??)
-Super Mario Party Jamboree (yes another mario party game. Gonna wait til its out to judge it)
-The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (holy shit zelda playable? With goofy imsim elements? Incheresting)

And that's it honestly. Metroid Prime 4 also looks absolutely incredible but I don't know if metroid is exactly my cup of tea lmao
